Fear and Greed Index to Slack

Config

• Slack API (required): Slack Bot or User OAuth token. The workflow uses this to post the message. Connect your Slack workspace; the token is stored as the credential.

• Slack channel or user ID (required): Where to post. Example: C0123ABC for a channel or U0123ABC for a DM. You can get the ID from Slack (channel or user details). Changing it changes where the message is sent.

Logic

What it does, step by step:

1. It reads your Slack credential and the target channel or user ID.
2. It fetches the current Fear and Greed Index (numeric value and text label) from the market-data service.
3. It sends one message to the given Slack channel or DM with the index value and label, then finishes and reports the value and channel.

When it stops: After sending the message once; it runs once and stops.

If something fails: If fetching the index or sending to Slack fails, the error propagates and the workflow ends.
